Increasingly stringent federal and state regulations have imposed new requirements on the design, construction and operation of landfills. Landfill owners and operators work in an environment of intense public scrutiny and need quality, well documented installations and operations.

NTH Consultants has worked with private and public landfill owners for over two decades, providing assistance in siting and design, major vertical and horizontal expansions, construction monitoring, site closure and remediation. NTH has developed innovative techniques to maximize air space in landfills, and also to address unexpected circumstances in the field. In fact, the NTH team won an award for developing and implementing an innovative repair approach to mend a liner system under 60 feet of waste – the first use of polyurea for this application in the nation!
