To be considered for this recognition, employers first submitted information about benefits and policies. Then, employees completed surveys where they were asked about the culture, leadership, and other company details. The survey, along with determining what employees enjoy about their workplace, also attempted to ascertain whether employees understood the company strategy and advancement opportunities. But it was noted, companies that have learned to prioritize and embrace flexibility and well-being initiatives during the pandemic really stood out this year.
NTH, a 100% employee-owned company, has been recognized in recent years as a Metro and National Best Places to Work, a Detroit Free Press ‘Top Places to Work’ and an ESOP Company of the Year. In the surveys administered by these organization, our employee-owners consistently give NTH high marks in many areas, including, effective leadership, respect, diversity, culture, benefits, recognition, and work-life integration.
“Awards based on feedback from our employee-owners are impactful because they showcase how invested our staff are in our company, as well as in our clients’ satisfaction and success. We are proud to be included on this list, among some of the top companies in our area,” said Kevin B. Hoppe, Chairman and CEO. “This recognition also highlights our commitment to constantly improving ourselves by investing in our people, processes, and systems.”
