NTH Senior Project Scientist


Mr. Bates is a Senior Project Scientist at NTH who offers 16 years of experience in environmental consulting, wildlife biology and management, habitat restoration, and project management. Prior to joining NTH, Mr. Bates served as a Senior Biologist / Project Manager for an environmental consulting firm in California. In that role he managed capital utility and renewable energy projects, including NEPA compliance, habitat restoration, threatened and endangered species studies, habitat and vegetation mapping, and project management. Mr. Bates project management and ecological studies experience includes NEPA implementation, habitat restoration management plans, and threatened and endangered species. His client types include utilities, renewable energy, oil and gas production, mining, developers, military, and federal agencies.
