As NTH expands into infrastructure-focused electrical engineering, our Electrical Engineering Division supports clients where performance matters in substations, distribution systems, and generation facilities. Our team combines NTH’s commitment to community infrastructure, design excellence, and field safety with practical field experience in electrical construction, troubleshooting, and commissioning, delivering solutions that are safe, constructable, and built to operate.

We support the core systems utilities rely on. Our experience includes substations, utility distribution, PLS-CADD line design, plant distribution, synchronous generation, SCADA systems, Metering, BESS, and solar. We design with Ops crews in mind and consider how systems are switched, maintained, and operated in the field. Integration with NTH’s civil and environmental teams allows many designs to be delivered fully in-house.

We provide the expertise to model and analyze system performance, plan for growth, protect critical assets, and keep workers safe. Our services include load flow and growth studies, fault studies, protective relay settings, and PE-supervised arc flash studies. We also perform event analysis and misoperation reviews to identify root causes and prevent repeat outages.
