NTH’s Masonry Condition Assessment at Sterling State Park
Back in March of 2024, the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget received word that the William C. Sterling State Park Headquarters Building was experiencing cracked masonry walls, poor drainage, and long-term structural risks and required an immediate condition assessment. Having previous experience at Sterling State Park, NTH was called upon by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to offer our expertise.
With the ultimate goal of restoring the facilities structural integrity, NTH jumped right into action! After completing comprehensive condition assessments, NTH was confidently able to provide the DNR with a root cause analysis and restoration alternatives to combat the current conditions.
By aligning its services with DNR’s goals, NTH ensured the delivery of feasible, long-term repair solutions within the project’s budget and scope!
