There were a lot of impressive projects and the NTH judges had our work cut out for us, but we finally selected STEM Middle School of Dearborn, Team 2 as the "Best Engineered Project." Their team consisted of three impressive students in 7th and 8th grades who were able to answer all of our questions and had a great layout and design for their future city. In speaking with the team, we found out that all of the teams at the school all work together to plan cities and work through ideas, then near the end, they break into groups to finalize their plans and create their cities. This was apparent as the STEM Middle School Team 1 was also a contender for the award!
Other excellent projects from other competitors are also included in the images above.
