Kevin B. Hoppe, P.E.
Chairman Mr. Hoppe joined NTH in June 1983 as a Staff Engineer, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in November 1998 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2012. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors since the mid 1990’s, holding the Chairman of the Board position from April 2006 through March 2012, and is currently serving in that role, effective January 2021. Affiliated with ASFE, now GBA, for more than 30 years, Kevin has been involved in several committees, participated as a board member (from 1996 to 2001), was elected ASFE President in 2000, and named to the ASFE Council of Fellows in 2005. He chaired this committee from 2008 to 2011 and is currently an active member of the Council. Kevin has participated as both a team member and captain of ASFE Peer Reviews for more than 20 years; and is a past Chair of ASFE’s Peer Review committee. Currently he is a member of Terra Insurance Company, RRG Board of Directors. A position he has held since 2008. He has also chaired committees for ACEC, ASCE and SMPS. Kevin received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1981 and 1983, respectively; and his Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1995. Jeffrey P. Jaros
President / Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jaros joined NTH in April 2005 as a Principal Scientist, was named a Senior Associate / Vice President in April 2008, was named Executive Vice President and COO in 2017, and appointed to his current position in 2021. For more than 20 years, Jeff has provided environmental and meteorological expertise to clients, including air permits, local- and regional-scale emissions modeling, and regulatory strategies. Jeff is an active member in various professional organizations involved in the geo-professional business and energy market. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University in 1991, and his Master of Business Administration in Integrative Management from Michigan State University in 2000. ,Jason R. Edberg, P.E.
Executive Vice President / Chief Growth Officer Mr. Edberg joined the company in 2004 as a Senior Staff Engineer working in the Geotechnical division. In 2013 he was named a Vice President and in 2019, he was named a Senior Vice President and Senior Principal Engineer. Jason was appointed to his current position in 2021. Since 2016, Jason has served as the Strategic Market Initiative Lead for the Water / Wastewater Division, where he consistently has achieved quarterly revenue goals and has raised the bar for his team as well as for the other division leads. Jason is a Licensed Professional Engineer in MI, IL and OH and received a BS, Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA, Management from Wayne State University. In 2009 Jason was named the MSPE (Detroit) Young Engineer of the Year and the ASCE Michigan Section Young Engineer of the Year. Connect with Jason |
