Holding Your Ground: The Theory and Practice of Braced Excavations
April 13, 2016
12:00 - 1:00 PM

With the ever increasing demands for  improvements to our aging underground infrastructure system as well as the  construction of  new structures in already well developed worksites, the attention to the safe and efficient support of existing facilities during excavation procedures becomes  critical.  In the absence of a properly designed  excavation support system, the potential for damage to adjacent  properties, delays to the new work, and the concern over worker safety  rise dramatically.  This Webinar will explore the various contemporary methods available to construct sound and effective braced excavations, and provide insight into the science of their design and the practical considerations of their construction.
