Ms. Shelef is the Director of Corporate Relations & Education Outreach at the Engineering Society of Detroit. She is responsible for filling the pipeline of talent in Michigan by connecting technical professionals to each other and to students in ESD’s STEM outreach programs.

Prof. Filza Walters, FESD 
Prof. Walters (Lawrence Technological University) is director of the first combined bachelors+masters architectural engineering program in Michigan. Utilizing her extensive industry experience, professional society involvement (AEI & ASHRAE) and affiliation with organizations (NAWIC & ESD), she inspires, educates, and promotes students to pursue STEM fields to create a sustainable, high-performing, and energy efficient built environment.

Mr. Bryan is a Senior Project Specialist with NTH Consultants, Ltd., specializing in quality control / quality assurance and inspection services within the commercial building industry.

Mr. Thomas (Melvindale High School) is a STEM Secondary Teacher with extensive experience in the area of architectural applications with alternative energy, innovation vehicle design, and underwater robotics.
