Emergency Action Plans –
Don’t Panic: Be Prepared

September 14, 2022; 12:00 pM - 1:00 pM

One of the unfortunate characteristics of aging underground infrastructure is the inability to easily assess and predict when a system will fail. Modern improvements in inspection and maintenance processes of underground systems have made positive impacts on the overall condition of our infrastructure, but they cannot eliminate sudden sewer system blockages or failures. Having an established Emergency Action Plan can greatly reduce response times and help lessen the ancillary impacts associated with system failures. This webinar will discuss the components of a well-developed Emergency Action Plan and why it’s important for all communities.
