NTH Consultants, Ltd. Hosts CCR Rule Webinar on April 30
Disposal of Coal Combustion Residuals Policy Overview & Practical Implementation Strategies Presented
The US EPA has finalized regulations that provide a complete set of requirements for the safe disposal of coal combustion residuals (CCRs), otherwise known as coal ash, from coal-fired power plants. Because of these new regulations, experts at NTH Consultants, Ltd. (NTH) are offering a webinar to present a brief overview on the CCR final rule and to provide practical implementation strategies for managing CCRs consistent with updated beneficial use or disposal regulations. The webinar will take place on April 30 at 12:00 pm ET.
According to the EPA, the CCR final rule is the “culmination of extensive study on the effects of coal ash on the environment and public health.” NTH’s webinar will discuss these studies and the implications of the final rule and will provide more clarity on the technical requirements for those impacted by the new regulations. The webinar is free of charge to participants.
