Summer intern, Colton Morrow patches a core hole under the cooling towers at the DTW North Power House which serves the major systems that provide air conditioning for the entire DTW North Terminal, after drilling a 2" diameter core into the elevated concrete slab.  The core was drilled as part of a project to assess the integrity of the concrete slab at the Power House. Due to the standing water, commonly seen at Cooling Towers, Colton was using a shop vacuum to ensure the cement mix patch was dry to allow the mix to harden.
