DTE Energy – Monroe Power Plant
Storm Sewer Modeling and Flooding Evaluation NTH evaluated the storm sewer system at the Monroe Power Plant for DTE Energy. NTH used historical drawings and a new topographic survey of the site to develop a storm water model. |
Cranbrook Educational Community
Stormwater Management Cranbrook Educational Community retained NTH Consultants to develop a long-term program to rehabilitate stormwater facilities to improve stormwater management practices and the water ecology on campus. |
Ferrous Processing & Trading Co.
Storm Water Master Planning & Engineering Services NTH provided on-going master planning and professional engineering support for storm water quality/quantity improvements at multiple scrap metal/ auto salvage facilities. |
Henry Ford Estate Dam
Dam Inspection and Additional Evaluation NTH was retained to perform an exploration of the dam located on the Middle Branch of the River Rouge at the historical Henry Ford Estate. |
City of Dearborn
Stormwater Management and GIS Application NTH experience with the Rouge River Program Office and MDEQ general permit requirements facilitated funding and creation of a GIS application for planning and stormwater management. Fairview Park
Permeable Pavement and Bioretention Project NTH was the engineer of record for this project in which permeable pavers, each about the size of a brick, were installed at Fairview Park. Using this technology, water can now flow into small spaces between the pavers down through three layers of gravel. The gravel filters the water by absorbing pollutants, such as oil and heavy metals. Watch this demonstration by firefighters from the Fairview Park Fire Department who spray the permeable pavers with water to demonstrate their infiltration ability. |
