Over the last month, NTH has given back and supported our communities in many ways. Below are some of the highlights.
| ESD Future City Competition NTH Staff sent Keith Bryan, Wai Kit Chan, Lisa Dilg, and Bill Reader to be judges for the Best Engineered Project category. There were a lot of great projects, but we narrowed it down to Crescent Academy in Canton. NTH Engineer, Dave Lomas, was also a judge for the final round of the competition. DTE THAW NTH supplied a basket of Michigan made products and Red Wings hockey tickets for a raffle fundraiser for The Heat & Warmth Fund which gives utility assistance for Michigan residents in need. Several NTH employees also generously donated directly to the online website. Flint Water Help Thanks to the generosity of our staff members, NTH collected 65 gallons of water and donated $170.00 cash, $80.00 of which came from our Cleveland office! We used the money to purchase Zero water pitchers along with packs filter replacements. Engineering SMArT Michigan NTH engineer, Keith Bryan, is serving as a mentor for the Engineering SMArT Michigan program for the 2014-2015 school year. This initiative is a rigorous, hands-on science, math, architecture and technology (SMArT) project for southeast Michigan high school students to promote careers in these areas alongside engineering. |     |
