Asset Management is a systematic process of maintaining, upgrading, and operating physical assets. An asset management program typically includes a tool to measure performance metrics for short and long-term goals and objectives. It links business, engineering and economics to the organization’s mission; and, it serves as the basis for an organized, logical, decision making process as part of best management practices.
Mr. Stadnicar's presentation will review the elements of an asset management program, including what information can be gathered and included, as well as some information regarding about the reports and data generated. We will also review Facility Condition Index and programming objectives – specifically to identify what assets are to be included, their condition, and establishing long-term performance goals and objectives.
